El Paso is a proud and beautiful border community, a historic gateway for generations of immigrants who have found refuge, opportunities and a home. We have always been a place of welcome and today, El Paso stands as a testament to how welcoming others fosters a more safe, prosperous and vibrant environment for all.

 

The Compromiso El Paso reaffirms our shared commitment to honoring the dignity, rights and humanity of all immigrants who built this community and now call it home, as well as to welcoming, protecting, integrating and promoting new Americans.

Many of our local leaders have pledged to uphold this Comprimiso and work collectively toward its principles and commitments. We invite you to read the principles outlined and join our local leaders in doing the same.
